Constance Finley
Our Founder. Her Journey. Your Care.
Constance Finley is the founder and CEO of Constance Therapeutics. She describes herself asan entrepreneur, an inventor and a citizen scientist, and it fits. After a near-fatal reactionto prescribed pharmaceuticals, she turned to cannabis and became fixated on a problem theindustry still has not solved: how to make a whole-plant extract consistent and standardizedenough to trust, batch after batch. Eighteen years of that work now sits behind four granted US patents on standardized whole-plant extraction.
She is a founding member of the National Compassionate Care Council, the coalition advisingthe FDA and Congress on the next medical cannabis framework, and one of the few voices at that table arguing that how an extract is made is the thing that matters most. Her graduate training is in clinical psychology. Before Constance Therapeutics she founded Housing Allies, using tax credits to build affordable housing.
